TS2-2: Leveraging values of nature for a resilient future
The thematic session aims to deepen the understanding of nature’s contributions to people across a range of environmental, social, financial and cultural values, which are critical for building resilient societies. It will examine the role of nature-based solutions as scalable and effective measures to reduce disaster risks at all levels. Participants will share experiences and discuss aspects related to governance, impact and investments in nature-based solutions that benefit the communities that are most vulnerable to climate and disaster risks.
