TS3-2: Infrastructure for a resilient, inclusive and sustainable future
The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030 emphasizes the critical need for investing in resilient infrastructure as a means of safeguarding lives, protecting the natural environment and preserving economic stability. Scaling up infrastructure for a resilient, inclusive and sustainable future requires collaboration among all stakeholders. This session brings together key infrastructure stakeholders to better understand the bottlenecks, share actionable strategies for scaling up infrastructure resilience and highlight practical pathways for embedding resilience into infrastructure projects well beyond 2030.
