How to risk proof and protect real estate assets against disaster and climate risks

In this interactive session, participants will learn the importance of risk-proofing and protecting real estate assets against disaster and climate risks through the hotel resilience game. Hotel Resilience is a game about disaster risk prevention, reduction and transfer, encouraging players to explore what it takes to make risk informed decisions and investments under conditions of uncertainty.

This learning lab will be a collaboration between UNDRR, Global Shield, ARUP, Provis and ARISE UAE. Participants will learn more about UNDRR’s Real-Estate Resilience Tool that has been developed in collaboration with the private sector to help businesses value, assess, and plan for asset and operational resilience.
