Reporting of Outcomes from Prep Days

The Prep Days of the eighth session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GP2025) provide a crucial space for technical exchanges, stakeholder consultations, and thematic deep-dives ahead of the main sessions. These preparatory discussions enable diverse actors — including governments, UN agencies, the private sector, science and academia, civil society, and youth — to share insights, align approaches, and bring forward emerging ideas and recommendations.

The Reporting of Outcomes from Prep Days session will synthesize the key messages, reflections, and proposals generated during these preparatory events. It will offer an overview of the technical and stakeholder perspectives on the challenges, opportunities, and innovations in accelerating the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030.
