The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is pleased to announce that an updated version of the GP2022 COVID-19 Health Protocol is available on the website of Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) at the following link

Please note the updated COVID:19 testing schedule during the GP2022:

Testing is provided free of charge by the Host Country at the event venue and official hotels. Testings requirements for the event has been updated on 19 May 2022 and are as follows:

  1. For 21 and 22 May 2022, participants entering BICC for registration do not require a negative Antigen or PCR test result.
  2. A first phase of control will be implemented on Monday 23rd May and all participants entering BICC are required to present a negative Antigen test taken either at the venue in the facilities provided or from the testing services provided at the official hotels. Kindly note that the result will be valid for entering the venue for 24 hours from the time the sample was taken.
  3. The second phase of control will be implemented on Tuesday 24th May. Participants are required to take a PCR test on Tuesday, 24 May. This is a mandatory requirement as the results will allow entry into BNDCC on Wednesday 25th May. No screening of negative test will be conducted on that date for entry to the venue. 
  4. For participants who did not complete a PCR test on 24 May, Antigen testing will be provided on 25 May. Participants with a negative Antigen test can only access the BNDCC in the afternoon.
  5. The third phase of control will be implemented on Thursday 26th May. Participants are required to take a PCR test on Thursday, 26 May. This is a mandatory requirement as the results will allow entry into BNDCC on Friday 27th May. No screening of negative test will be conducted on that date for entry to the venue.
  6. There will be no testing provided by the Host Country on Saturday, 28 May.
